What needs strengthening in you as you prepare to carry responsibility?
ENLARGE MY CAPACITY
Lengthen the cords. Strengthen the stakes.

Capacity is more than how much activity fits into a week. It includes spiritual depth, character, competence, resilience and the ability to carry responsibility without losing the supports that make faithful service possible.
Isaiah 54:2 uses the image of a tent: “Enlarge the place of thy tent, and let them stretch forth the curtains of thine habitations: spare not, lengthen thy cords, and strengthen thy stakes” (KJV). In its prophetic context, the passage speaks hope to Zion in the promise of restoration. TBN uses the picture as a contemporary prayerful application: expansion and strengthening belong together. It is not a guarantee of material increase.
Lengthening the cords suggests making room; strengthening the stakes asks whether prayer, character, relationships and disciplines can support what we hope to carry. The two-part Monday rhythm begins with Prayer in the Spirit and preparation, then moves into corporate prayer and worship. Participation details must come through the current approved route; this page does not invent a venue or online platform.
