Where has distance developed, and what wise, loving step is available to you?
LOVE — The Relational System
From Disconnection to Covenant

Offence, disappointment, fear, pride and self-interest can create distance between people. Sometimes that distance is obvious; sometimes it appears as withdrawal, mistrust or the slow loss of honest conversation. Biblical love begins with God and shapes how we receive grace, speak truth and accept responsibility toward one another.
Love is not sentiment without wisdom. It can include patience, forgiveness, accountability, truth, service and appropriate boundaries. Reconciliation should never be used to require someone to remain in an unsafe situation. Where harm or danger is present, a wise next step may include distance, trusted pastoral support or qualified professional help.
The series considers love across family, relationships, the workplace, church, community and nation. “People belong here” is more than a welcome line: belonging calls us to see people, carry responsibility and build covenantal relationships under Christ. The intended learning is a deeper understanding of love and a more faithful response—not a guarantee that every strained relationship will be restored.
Practical reflection
“Where has distance developed, and what wise, loving step is available to you?”
Name one responsibility that belongs to you. If action is safe and appropriate, choose a truthful, loving step. On 8 November, the 9:30 am service is part of the special TEENS + PARENTS gathering; no separate LOVE teaching arrangement has been published for that date.
